Flying Raptor, ID? Osprey?
On our way home from church, I picked up some bird photos. These are not exhibition quality or anything, and I know they are a dime a dozen some places, but these are new to me. He was high and far away, so I had to crop, you can imagine how much.
The bird flew around til I was bored with him, thought he might be an Osprey, wanted to see him "pick" up his food, but NO, he came down, checked out what the other birds were doing and left. Left me confused, too.
I framed them, partly for looks and partly because of the severe cropping job.
See, here he is, still "in the air" looking over the young bird's shoulders............
He is kind of convoluted, but he is twisted from behind to see what they see in the water.
I don't know how those white birds can be so calm.

Is he an Osprey??? I thought they were gone, the nest is empty.

After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
