I thought Canon's 1200mm 5.6L ruled, until I saw this. Wow. The Canon has AF, while Nikon's doesn't. With the 1200-1700, Nikon has every millimeter covered from 14mm(wider?) to 1700mm: 14-24, 24-70, 70-200, 80-400, 360-1200, and 1200-1700. But wait... Canon 2000mm TV lens.
I wonder how many of these exist in the world... Canon's 1200 is rumored to have less than 20 copies throughout the world. SI, Natgeo, Jim Jannard, CPS, etc. B&H sold some to the public for $99,000 or $120,000.
Lemme guess the 1200-1700 is old news to Harry?
