advanced customiser page not displaying properly

when attempting to use the advanced site-wide customization page. all other control panel pages display fine

The same thing just happened to me. I logged out, then logged in again - and the problem cleared. I can now get to my advanced site-wide customizations again. Might be worth a try (although as far as I'm concerned that should never have happened in the first place).

removing all cookies associated with smugmug seemed to do the trick for me

not been able to access mine for a few days, just cleared cookies, logged back in and now the toolbar doesnt load up despite multiple login/logouts and page refreshs,

its a constant lottery with smugmug whether or not you have access to the toolbar, is there any specific setting i should have when using firefox ?

i still cant access my toolbar, i deleted all the cookies, click photo sharing at the bottom of the page, i log in which takes me back to my page, tool bar doesnt show, so i keep relogging in and clicking refresh and still no tool bar, the one time the tool bar appeared, i clicked tools then control panel and it took me back to the smug mug photo sharing page.



Any ideas?

Do you have 3rd party cookies enabled? I can see your toolbar just fine so I do suspect a local cookie issue.

thats sorted it, i can now access the tool bar, but advanced customiser is still a blank page, i can only access it properly by going through easy customiser first.

Can you make sure to login from www.smugmug.com ? After logging in, it's normal that you may see the visitor view first. Let the page load fully and then refresh it in your browser using the refresh button. That should get the login cookie set for your custom domain as well. In a case that this doesn't work, click through to a gallery and that should take care of the cookie so you can see the owner view.

If you can't get it to work, your browser may not have the correct cookie settings as shown here:

Or you might have a stuck login cookie. In that case, clear your cookies and log in again from www.smugmug.com .

i can login fine from smugmug.com, the page loads with no tool bar, i refresh but no toolbar, if i click to a gallery then refresh i get a tool bar, i then click back to my websites homepage and the toolbar is still there but when i click control panel sometimes it takes me to the control and sometimes back to smugmug.com , its intermittent and when i go back to homepage the toolbar is gone again and have to go through it all again.

Do you have any plugins in Firefox that blast cookies?

these are the plugins and extensions that i have that run in firefox, i dont think any of these affect cookies.

It works in firefox, but not in Safari

Log out and then back in. That should allow you to view the advanced customizer again.
