Both images are nice and properly exposed, but there really isnt anything interesting to me. They are both heavily center weighted and the couple is looking at the camera in both. Try thinking outside the box and producing some drama.

Out of the two I like the tree on better but as was said would be good to see some interaction between them. I was just checking out the rest on the blog and one thing that jumped out at me was the varying white balance so might be worth looking at getting that off of Auto so you have consistency.

Must say it looks like you have some stunning locations to shoot, very cool!

I'm here to learn so please feel free to give me constructive criticism to help me become the photographer I desire to be.

This was actually our first official attempt at an engagement session. We were pretty happy with the results for our first time. Definitely room for improvement...

We do shoot in RAW so the varying white balance is probably my fault from when I processed the raw files (hubby is the photographer, I do the other "stuff"). I also was on his case about flash being too harsh in some previous beach portraits we did so he was experimenting with trying to fix that issue, and we ended up with some photos underexposed eek7.gif Should have left him alone! rolleyes1.gif

Anyway... thanks for the comments and suggestions!
