Pioneer Park at night

I work the graveyard shift, and because of an accident i was forced to take the long way home one morning, past the local Pioneer Park with its little pond. The lighting on the trees from the lights struck my eye, and i had to pull over (lucky me i had my camera and tripod with me).
This is my first attempt at some night shots with my new Canon PowerShot S2 IS, so i mainly just played around with the settings. Here are two i especially liked:
f/3.2 at 5 seconds, auto ISO; original is here
f/4.5 at 15 seconds, auto ISO; original is here
Comments are welcome, y'all know i'm not exactly what you could call a "professional photographer" :P

I like both shots.......but I am draw to the second shot more.....I think it is because of the light, and the reflection shown in the water.
Your new camera is serving you well and welcome to the forum .....
Using a tripod, I'd try taking the ISO off AUTO and using what ever is your lowest ISO setting.... is it 100 ISO ? or does it go down to 50?
I am sure some other folks will comment on your shots, and hopefully give you better tips than I did thanks for sharing your work...... Skippy (Australia)
