Story behind the scene .
I had been trying to capture this Grosbeak for 3 days after seeing him visit my feeder, but I wanted the bird in flight because they are so beautiful. After trying several attempts to capture him the background never appealed to me until I stuck this stick up in the air about 12' off the ground for him to occasionally land on.
So my wife had to go to town and I stayed home and stood in the same spot for over an hour waiting for him to come back around , well needless to say he came back just as she slammed the door going in the front door and scared him away I promptly told her about her timing and thought that would be the end of it .
Much to my surprise a male cardinal came flying in and I not only captured him but the rose-breasted grosbeak came in right after him and I ended up with both loli-4CKFPdt-M.jpg
