So, I decided that I wanted to start taking advantage of the awesome Smugmug feature, Map This!

Well, to use that feature, each of your photos needs to have GPS data in the metadata, for Smugmug to read.

No problem, just get a GPS unit, right? Well, once you've got the data, you've got to get it from point A to point B.

This is where GPS Photo Linker comes in.

This is not a how-to, and I'm not going to go through every feature.
But I will tell you this. In minutes I had downloaded my tracks from my GPS unit, used the batch feature to automagically have the GPS data inserted into my picture metadata.

That easy. And for a platform that is woefully undernourished in support for Garmin products (my GPS unit is a Garmin), this works fantastically!
