Joe Farace Camera Pack
The Joe Farace Backpack from Adorama is a sturdy, basic photo backpack. At $75, it's also a pretty good value. Have everything you need for a day out shooting with room for your laptop, camera gear and necessary extras. edit
There are no shortages of places to store stuff...photography related or otherwise. Plenty of removable dividers are included and the mesh pocket on the inside of the main flap can easily hold card readers, extra batteries or filters. There are also 4 small mesh pockets inside the flap for holding extra memory cards.
On the exterior of the pack is an elastic mesh pocket that will hold a fairly large item such as a bottle of water or flash for quick access. The other side has 2 non-elastic straps for storing your tripod.
A 15" MacBook Pro fits with plenty of room to spare. The 17" MacBook Pro was a tight fit, but the zipper will shut.
The outside gadget pocket has a bunch of smaller pockets for other necessities.
There is also a built in rain cover that folds into a pouch on the bottom of the bag and a pair of adjustable nylon straps for attaching other random things.
The straps are well padded and an elastic chest strap makes carrying the bag fairly comfortable.
The bag is pretty big and will take up all the space under an airline seat, so plan accordingly if you'll be taking this on the plane.
