How Come Wacom is Inactive?

I installed my wacom into my Edgartown computer the other day and it was working fine, but since then, when I open PS and pick up my pen to begin editing, the tablet appears to be inactive. My mouse is set aside, far to the left, and I do see the little thingie over on the left of my screen onto which I could write with the pen, but my pen does not show up when I place it over the pad.

Do I have to turn it on someplace or something?

Thanks.

I've run into this and I've found that sometimes you have to restart the Wacom driver. You can reboot the machine too, but restating the driver is quicker.

Go to start button->Control Panel->Administartive tools->Services and look for TabletServicesWacom. Do a right mouse button and Restart.
