Best Flash Bracket??

    Awesome article. It hit the spot to where I'm at right now, it's my next purchase. *swooon* I was just about to look into them and I was unaware of any that the camera itself could swivel. Thank you!!

    A side note as far as the battery pack. I also have the 580ex, but have only used it for one shoot and I was curious how long actual batteries lasted you during your weddings??? I'm familiar with the fact that a lot of shots are taken for that, (never plan to do weddings myself), but just out of curiosity. I shot about 300 raw images for the session I did and never ran out of battery life... But if I can get away with a battery pack that may not last as long for a smaller price, obviously I'd like to.

    agreed! I've had the QRS-H2 for a few years and while it doesn't get used too much, it is SO valuable when I need it!

    I liked the concept used by the Newton flash bracket enough that I made my own variant for (mainly) macro purposes when the need arose.

    I use a RRS Wedding Flash Brack every now and then because it has a super low profile and weights only 150g or so.
