Hi!
Yesterday I took this shot:
Today, I went out and decided to add some nice background to the previous shot, so I took this one:
I used select->color range to remove the sky in the first one, and added it as another layer to the second one. Here's the result:
The problem is that in some parts, the seams are visible, especially near the cross and the railings. I think one reason for that is the purple fringes which made the selection imperfect.
Can anything be done to make it more seamless (different selection method perhaps?) or is it just a matter of resolution and compression (I can only shoot JPGs)?
