Hi all

Well, it limits you to 18-55mm but gives you the option for f/2.8... I've never heard of a 18-55 2.8. Also, ISO 800 is WAY too noisy. It's noisier than my 1DII, and that's sayin' something! The noise looks fake. They say a better one is coming... maybe this will fix the things I mentioned.

I assume you meant 50mm f/1.8? Well, it doesn't give you 1.8... 2.8, yes, to some degree, but be careful with the noise in high ISO.

While that site introduces you to some basic concepts and relationships, it is not as good a visual representation to some things as other sites. For instance, this Nikon body/lens simulation is fairly accurate with regard to FOV, angular distortion and perspective. (Chrome does not work very well with this site but Firefox is fine.)

Thanks ZIGGY! I never knew such a thing existed, I have had a very hard time getting my head around the lens comparison stuff, this helps a lot!!!!!!
