President LBJ's Boyhood School

President Lyndon Johnson was from Johnson City TX and there are wonderful state and national parks there. One of his boyhood schools, the one he attended most, nearest his home, is contained within the park. Another old school, which he attended briefly, is in the town of Albert TX, not too far from Johnson City. The school is used as a small community center. The caretaker happened to be there on the day and he let me in to snap a few.

[NOTE: The town of Albert was for sale 2 years ago, dance hall, barn, house, etc. I wish my family had bought it! Thankfully, someone did and the dance hall has been refurbished and is becoming popular again.] :clap
