Oh man, what body language you caught here!
He seems so predatory in this shot. Wonderful composition as well and I even like the added touch of the bird in flight behind her head.

Very very good.
Thank you Liz!! The body language is very powerful and disturbing. I hesitated to post this because of it, I though I was too aggressive... but in the end I did.

Glad you did. It's a fine example of the power of photography. Well done.
No, actually I was walking by, saw them, grabbed the camera composed, took the shot and kept walking past them. Only later I saw the full extent of her attitude towards him.
Interesting. I've had the same experience from time to time. The shot radar says go even without being fully conscious of what's going on till seeing it on the monitor.
Love the shot with the body language being the strength of the shot.
BUT... I don't get the sense of "threatening" from this. It looks like a couple that has gone through this act many times before. She is pulled back but does not look alarmed or frightened or surprised.
I too really like this photo, but I don't see anything threatening with it. Looks like she was facing towards the water and has turned partly to face him.
I like the shot. I don't think it is creepy. They could be lovers and he has something in his tooth, or his breath stinks or he really just surprised her by proposing to her. Either way, I love when pictures make me think and this image has done just that.

A really wonderful image. A painful personal moment played out in public.

Liz is right about the bird - it makes her movement to the left even stronger!
