    Fabulous pictures. The grasshopper is bigger than the egrets bill.

    We saw a flock of cattle egrets feeding in a grassy field near Okefenokee and struggled to see what they were eating. When we examined our pictures at full size, we were able to see that large grasshoppers were on the menu. Even with a 150-500mm zoom on a DX body, we were not able to get much detail. Your photos are just perfect. Thanks for capturing this behavior so well.
