Thanks, guys. It was a productive morning for me. Right after I shot this one, I ran into a (peaceful) confrontation between political demonstrators and police, who were blocking a street. Then, about an hour later, I saw a couple of hundred cyclists riding nude through the street to protest the inadequacy of bike lanes--naked in traffic was the theme. Wish all days were like that.

Thanks for commenting, everyone. It could have been promoting a local theater group, a new gym, a discotheque, just about anything, really. It was a little early in the day for partying, but in Madrid you never know.
I assume you weren't interested in the political protest.
I shot that from my terrace, which is where I was when I noticed them. I wish I had been in the plaza itself, but there was no time to get out on the street. I just grabbed my 70-200 and did the best I could. It was another WTF moment for me, as it was only later that I learned what it was about.
