For the next couple weeks Salmon will be running up the creek from Tahoe to Fallen Leaf Lake and the Bald Eagles are out looking for food. I was fortunate to see one adult (too far away to get pics) and one Juvenile (pics below). The pics aren't very good, but hey its an EAGLE! Hopefully, I can get back up there soon to try and get better shots.

    Some years back...
...when we were up at the boundry waters in Minnesota, I saw and shot a Baldy at this stage of development. So you brought back a good memory. clap.gif

    Nothing like 'em!

Great pics, Steve. Sharp, sharp, sharp thumb.gif. Apparently you've been holding out on me on these 'hotspots' for the eagles umph.gif. Just kidding. How close to the redtail did he let you get??

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks for the comments Ben, Ric, Ginger, Kevin and Harry.

They truly are magnificent birds. I just hope I can get back up there before the spawn ends.

Oh and Kevin, the place I gave you directions for today, may be the right spot, but then again.... blbl.gif

Yeah, you're directions are probably taking me right to the town dump. Maybe I can get some really cool rat photos there. Kevin.
