Homepage Layout Button

Why am I'm seeing three different versions of the Homepage Layout Button?
On three different sites to turn on galleries/categories one of these shows in the dropdown.

Gallery Categories
Galleries
Default
Al - Just a volunteer here having fun

    Categories is one choice.
    Galleries is another.
    Default - I dunno I'll check on why that shows up.

    It shows as Default in there until you have toggled the view from galleries to categories or vice versa here:

    Once it has been toggled the first time it will show as Galleries or Gallery Categories in the layout list.

    So when telling someone to check that, we have to know if they have ever
    toggled before? :D Does not make much sense. Has nothing to do with
    cat/gal display toggle, only that the box is enabled/disabled.

    I think it should be checked by default for all new users. Can't think of any
    new user not wanting to see their galleries. Also only show wording
    "gallery/categories" not default. "Default" means nothing to anyone.

    I went and reported it to our bug team directly. This is one of those things that I've known for awhile and assumed was bugged but just lived with. I gave them the proper steps to reproduce so we can get it fixed. We'll get this sorted Allen thumb.gif
