My wife and I headed up to Napa Valley for the day and I snapped a few shots while getting a tour. In general I am not a big HDR fan, but it is growing on me and I really like how these came out.

2 - Wine aging in the cave

Your processing compliments the images. Well done and I like it! thumb.gifthumbthumb.gifthumbthumb.gifclap.gifclapclap.gif

I don't care for the distortions of the first two, but the third is KILLER!!!!

I used Nik's HDR Efex Pro and then some additional adjustments in Lightroom.

I tested these images with CS5's HDR Pro, Photomatix 4, and HDR Efex Pro. In the end I purchased HDR Efex Pro. I just couldn't seem to get enough or the right effect with CS5 and it didn't provide enough controls (in HDR Pro), but I'll admit to not know what I am doing. Photomatix yielded too much HDR effect for me and was too complicated for my needs. Nik's HDR Efex Pro seemed to apply just the right amount of effect and it's controls were easy to understand and use.

Thanks... yea I'm kinda on the fence about the distortions too.
