Photos not showing

Alot of my photos are just black boxes! Are there Smugmug issues?

    Getting weird display also. 18 of 24 thumbs show horizontal lines.

    Here we go again. Most images are a black box with a red x here in Western NY.

    Amazon is experiencing some problems with their S3 service, which is causing SmugMug some headaches while trying to serve your photos & videos: http://status.aws.amazon.com/

    Status page shows that Amazon is back up, however my pics are still not showing.
    7D, 70-200L IS, 17-55 IS 2.8, 150 2.8 macro, 12-24, 100-400L, 85 1.8, 50 1.4

    here it is 24 hrs. later and my photo's are still just grey boxes?????? And I just made my monthly payment:( How about a discount !

    After giving up last night, I come back today and find Smugmug is still down. The thought of giving a refund for the constant down time has been brought up in the past. Don't hold your breath!

    Hi, we are not 'still down' - we're up, but we're having trouble serving up some photos to some people - our Ops team is on it and will fix this as fast as possible - sorry for the hassle!

    Our apologies ne_nau.gif Our Operations team is investigating this issue, as I type. It appears that some thumbnails (and other display sizes) aren't displaying. The original photos all appear to have uploaded properly. The issue is only with the display copies, we generate and serve for viewing.

    We hope to have this resolved shortly.

    Again our apologies. We thank you for your patience and understanding, while we take care of this issue thumb.gif

    Luckily I am not using Smugmug for business, just share photos with friends and families. If my business site looks like this, I will be very pissed.:nah

    Hi Bu11dog, we're sorry and we're working as fast as possible to restore the thumbnails and images. Things happen, and these are usually very short-lived. Apologies for the hassle.
