pokin' around Coal Creek, a suburban stream near Bellevue, WA, this afternoon, and found this... one of those spots no one else ever photographs, because you have to wade up the creek to find it! i liked the way the overhanging devils' club leaves turned everything underneath them green. 5D, 24-135 @ 135mm, 10 sec @ f/13

I really like it. The soft water is a nice play against the sharp detail on the moss and foreground rock. It clearly pays off to hike a little more
