We took a very fast trip to the Oregon Coast this last weekend. I did manage to get a few pictures while there. This was in the middle of the day, so not ideal lighting conditions, but it turned ok I thought.

Thanks for looking, Ron

The sky gives some nice texture to this one, Ron. I like the colors. And it makes me want to move Oregon up on my list!

Thanks Lauren! Here is a partial view of what the house at the top sees.

That turned out really nice for the middle of the day. Love the whispy look of the sky against the mountain. Nice shot Ron

    Lauren:

It's not always like this -- we get rain about ten months a year. These beaches are usually gray and windswept and cold and rainy. July and August are gorgeous (September can be too but can also be wet), but Oregonians put up with a lot of rain for those two or three months of awesome weather.

My brother lived in Seattle so I got a taste of the rain a couple of times. Also lots of rain when I lived in England . . . but not ten months worth! Thanks for the info so I'll know when to plan my trip. :D

Really pretty shots, I love the composition of that first one.
Seems to be just a bit of blue tint to them, (maybe you like it like that) try clicking on the waves with your eyedropper.
