Pacific Atlantic

Hey guys. This is from a few years ago, but I don't think I ever showed it here. This picture of the Atlantic Ocean is a scene that the Pacific Ocean could never mimic, at least not here in North America (am I wrong?). Seen here at dawn, the Atlantic Ocean is smooth as glass (and this is the actual ocean, not a bay or inlet). This is taken in Bear Cut Preserve (Key Biscayne Nature Center), just off of Key Biscayne near Miami, Florida.

Matt, what a beautiful, peaceful shot. There really is a sense of peace here. Having moved from the East to the West, I definitely have noticed how much more active the Pacific is. Growing up, a 3-foot wave on the Jersey shore was a big deal. lol3.gif But I have to say that I'm not sure that I've ever seen any ocean as smooth as this.
