Smugmug Shopping cart to take orders for self processing

Hi all,

I wonder if this question has been posed before? If so, I haven't been able to find it. I want to be able to use the shopping cart feature to allow my customers to add photos to buy. However, I would like to use my own local printers to process the order instead. Is this possible? To basically have the cart send the order to me?

If not, what are my other options?

Smugmug does not support self-fulfillment. You can only order things that they ship.

Bummer... What if I want to make one myself? Can it be done? Or too much customisation to Smugmug?

You probably can. I know there are users here that have done it.

You cannot customize the Smugmug cart. You can add your own cart that uses PayPal, Google Checkout or some other payment system and cart logic. A search here on dgrin for PayPal will find a lot of folks discussing how to do that.
