all of them are a touch soft except 2. with your equipment, this should not be the case though i don't know much about tamron lens.

    1) is too dark and reddish color cast is ruining it for me.
    2) add a small vignett to this one to highlight the subject
    3) the standout..I love the composition, colors, pose on this shot! =)
    4) she looks a bit awkward here and the processing is completely flat and lifeless..is that a train COMING! haha

I looked at the entire set and agree that you have some focus issues. IIRC I liked shot 5 the best for its comp but the wrong things are sharp and the right things (face), aren't. Also, forget about all the artistic postering crapola and such; IMO it doesn't help anything - YVMV ne_nau.gif

Thanks for the feedback it is much appreciated. I see what you are saying about the softness. I think some of that may have been doneby me in post processing. I will have to take a closer look at the original files.

I like the compositions on the 1st three. That 4th one is a little bit disturbing. Only my opinion, however. I just never got the whole train-track thing. And this one has a train.

Thanks, and just to put everyone at ease about the train, it was a couple miles away, and not moving. :)

I would not put my daughter on the tracks otherwise.
