Guys ive got one on 400 5.6 & the 135 now. They appear to screw on a long way....anyone sure that they cant screw on so far as to actually touch the lens ?

Also use one on the 10-22...it looks to be a 'shallow' fronted lens as well.

And no...im not going to try it.

    L glass deserves B+W filters.

Don't blame me if your glass gets pissed and refuses to work right for you after you've insulted it with Hoya filters.:D

There shouldn't be a problem. I do use a thin filter on my 10-22 though.

I think its a pc/mac thing re cost of lower to mid range filters. By the time ive finished fooling with it the shot is generally gone.

You use one on your 135mm K ?

I ran out of money before I could by a 135.:D

I had one for my 35, then I traded that lens for the 24-70. I also have one I use on the 70-200 which will fit the 300 or 400. I bought a step down ring for my other lenses.
