I was standing on a foot bridge on Cedar Point Nature Trail look down when I saw this young Clapper Rail. I wish I could have had a lower angle for these shots, but I guess I'll have to make do with what I did get.
Any time you can get captures of a clapper rail is a very goood time. Nice work

Very true, they are normally very shy, but for some reason I've had some pretty good luck with them coming out into the open and getting pretty close to me this year.
Maybe it's the color of clothing I was wearing. Khaki color trousers and a Khaki color vest. A neutral color that can blend with almost any background.
