What's going on?

Help! I deleted some old work-related galleries, and now NONE of my galleries show up correctly. I get blank "frames" showing where the thumbnails should be, and nothing loads when I click on one.

What the heck is going on, and how do I fix it?

Here's a link to one gallery; http://www.earthdogimagery.com/Nature/Alaska/5452658_cmrvF#340044705_jaXfQ

It looks like you have some custom programming on your website pages that have become disturbed. Your starting page at SmugMug still shows so I think your images are OK, it's just your links on your website are broken somehow.

    Who did your website programming?

Hi Andy. Thanks for the help. I don't understand it, though. Everything was working fine one minute, then it was broken the next minute. I didn't change any domain settings. I guess I better email the heroes.

Thanks for the response, Ziggy. Yes, you saw what I saw, and still see. Some of it works, some doesn't, which makes me think it's unlikely to be a domain issue as Andy suggested.

I did the programming, cobbling together various scraps of code posted on DGrin. It all worked last time I was here (admittedly a while ago), and I haven't changed it in years.

EarthDog: It's 100% Guaranteed to be the domain setup. Please reread my last post, and the linked thread - and of course write us if you have questions, at the help desk.

Promise, it's 100% related to your domain and the issue I linked to you.

Just so you realize, one can have wrong domain settings and things can work perfectly fine for awhile and then some infrastructure provider makes a legitimate change (nothing to do with your specific site and something perfectly appropriate for them to change) and your site stops working or part of your site stops working. You probably were getting lucky before and it was still working with the wrong settings, but only the right settings continue to work when parts of the infrastructure change.
