#81 -- Busy camera day yesterday

Yesterday I shot a local 5K for a non-profit, then spent the afternoon on the beach with the kids, where there happened to be a beached 40-ft humpback whale, and then had an art opening last night with 13 colleagues, all photography.

This morning, as I dig out from the full memory cards, here are a few shots that say "connected" or "separated" to me. Do they to any of you?

Of the 4, #1 stands out the most for me and it would work fine for this challenge. But I know you can do even better.

#1 is the best of this group, but none of them are as stunning as I expect from you.

#2 is funny.

I think I'd like a closer crop on #3. Makes me itch.

#4 doesn't do much for me.

I agree with the others - #1 is the best for the theme, but none jump out.

I like #1 and #4, but neither are very strong on theme, in my opinion. I've seen what you can do, and you can do better than this.

#1 is definitely my favorite...#2 is awesome, but like other have said, none of them particularly make me think of the theme you gave.
