eek7.gifThat's gonna be alot of folks unhappy with Sony and /or digital cameras.

You should not need an underwater housing to take your camera outdoors in typical weather, which includes humidity, heat, snow, and sprinkles. thumb.gif

fwiw i used an f717 for 3 years, in all sorts of weather, never ever had a problem. used a p10 for 1 year, no problems. i've known many people who have / had 717s and i never heard of a ccd problem from them.

now, that said, the problems will show up, for sure, else they wouldn't have issued these notices...

Now if only they would fix dead pixels on DSLR CCD's for free... (outside of warranty)

My 717 was manufactured duing those dates. No issues yet. Still pumping out great pics (only limited by the soft lump of flesh behind it).

    I got 2 sonys with those dates, a 717, and a P10.

No problems so far. Of course I live where it's winter for 7 months a year.:D
