616 negative film development question
Good Evening Folks,
I purchased a Brownie Target six -16 camera over the weekend ($8 with instructions) at an antique mall. After playing around with it, I opened it to see what the inside looked like. There was a roll of 616 negative film in there that had a few shots left on it. I know the light probably damaged what was visible, but is there a chance that whatever was shot earlier and rewound, is still good ? Also, who develops 616 film now a days ? Thank you :thumb
Have a good evening

If you want to attempt to process the film I've heard good things about (but never used personally):

Yes, it's expensive.

Good Evening Ziggy,
Thank you for the info and links It is C-22, Kodacolor-X film. Actually, I don't mind spending $40 or $50 on the film. It's the curiosity factor that has the best of me Again, thanks for the info.
Have a good evening

Seattle FilmWorks (SFW) and Dale Labs are 2 different entities.
SFW is no longer in business but a Google led me to:

Swan does claim to do odd film processing so they might be worth an e-mail.
A friend of mine used to use Dale Laboratories in Florida for years and he did like them. I don't beleive that they do C-22 processing anymore but e-mail is cheap:

Thanks for all the suggestions When I opened the camera, there was approximately 2 or 3 shots left on the roll, so I knew that was damaged. I did open the camera in low light just in case film was in there. I'll be sending it off in the next few days. If anything is on the roll, then, I'll scan em, and post em. Again, thanks for all your help.
Have a good day
