I really like the first three - basically in that order. The bleeding hearts on the black background really strike me. The combo. of black background and lighting is lovely!

Glad you like these. I too like a black background with flowers. Seems to really accent the colors of the flowers.

Bleeding hearts are such beautiful flowers. First time I've photographed them, but hope to get many more.

These are all terrific. The water spray is very well done. It even looks refreshing.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    1) NEW Alien Bats. They may look cute, but they multiply rapidly and feed off of humans........ coming to a theater near you!

    Howdy Mary,

Those all turned out very nicely, but that first one with
the beautiful colors and back lighting is really something special.

    Very nicely done.
    Take care,

#5 for me, Mary. There is something about the way you composed the shot that makes it very interesting and thought provoking. :Dthumb.gifthumbthumb.gifclap.gifclapclap.gif
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

Great series, Mary! The black background was a perfect choice. That last shot is stunning--simple and elegant. Love it!

Black backgrounds seem to work great with flowers. The last one is flower bud from our neighbors tree. She thought I should try to photograph all the crud it drops into something pretty rolleyes1.gifUsed my dirty glass patio table to shoot that one :D
