I just watched a webcast that showed how to properly convert a file to CYMK for printing. Along with this he discussed the Colorsync app in the Mac OS.
This is pretty cool. It can display color spaces in 3D. It can also display different paper icc profiles in 3D. This will allow you to see "color graphically" the gamut the paper can produce.
Now for the question..........I swear, double swear, I saw him overlay an icc color space graph or a paper icc profile graph with an image file. Then I was able to see the photo's color gamut overlaid / compared to the color space or paper gamut.
This would really help with choosing the color space, paper and printing method, vendor etc.
I can not duplicate this and I have Googled by eyeball out!!

I double swears I seen it work..............I wrotes down "Color Sync" As I does remembers it looked like Color Sync.
Could be the herbal remidies............don't know.
I have put a reminder into my calendar to check online for the podcast next week!
