I don't know what this machine is called nor did I take a photo of it 'as a whole'. Did have fun dissecting it for some photos :D

    Thank you Richard :D

I never thought I'd have fun taking photos of something like this, but it was fun.

Nice work, Mary. I'm glad to see you find this kind of shooting to be fun. It's great to have a full range of subjects that are both challenging and rewarding to shoot.

In this case, like you, my favorite is #2.

    Take care,

    Tom
I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Hi Tom ..

This was challenging. I just didn't know what would be eye-appealing when the machine was broken down into pieces photography wise.

Glad to hear you like #2 too :D

Hmmm... I just might have to look for some rust. I want to have fun too.

Wonder if I can find some Vietnamese rust?

Love the images! Did you add any texture in post production?

#1 and #2 I used the Detail setting in Topaz Adjust. Only at around 8% opacity. It really didn't need it, but it helped boost the rusty look. The others received nothing. I tried to tone it down some :D Sunshine and asphalt is really full of texture which surprised me.

Happy you liked the images ... thank you for commenting :D
