Here's a crop of the above. Primarily because I noticed the tiny little larvae thing just below the ladybird. The lady bird was about 5mm in length for size perspective.

I love how people (including me) only after when we process the pfotos on comp find out that there is something else in the photo we didn't even see while the photo was taken. That is the reason why I love macro. It always surprises me with something

Think your larva is probably an adult thrips.

Love the colors on the fly, definitely my favorite in the series, though the others were fine too.
Yup they are tiny things and often a case of "where's Willy" - you find them accidently included in a picture- esp those involving flowers.
