not that I know ... so ... glad you started it ... ugh, and an other social thing to keep up with, haha!

Tell me ... you decided to do an account with your business email? Thought you needed a gmail address to have it work properly (but I may just be way behind on that one ....). I was just thinking this morning I should get the ball rolling, but my work pile is growing over my head at the moment ...

You have to have gmail account in order to join google+

Aw thanks ... I actually already have a personal account ... just wasn't sure if you created a FB-like "page" with your business account ....

But I guess you just put your business name as "last name", that's it?

Ah ok ... makes sense ... just didn't feel like having to figure out how to do it for my business email ... + YES .... yet an other place to upload your photos, like we don't have anything else to do

Be aware: making your page for your business is against terms of service, but Google is already in the process of developing a business page side for users. So it's on the way, just be patient.

Make sure to set up privacy option on your photos. Go to your photo folder (at the top on the black bar), click on settings (right corner setting wheel), go to Privacy and Permission and uncheck allow users to "order prints and download photos"

You can also disable creative commons licensing here if desired.

I simply upload low res copies of my photos that are watermarked. I make that a rule for everywhere, except where I know it's safe to do otherwise, like at smugmug.

Not true. I signed up (after the invite) using a non-gmail account.

I didn't have a Gmail account until a week after I was on Google+. I only used it to populate my Google+ account from my Facbook account.

So far, google plus has banned business sites. Not sure of their reasoning but they have disabled several commercial sites including Ford. Hopefully that will change since I know many of us like to keep our photography businesses separate from our personal lives.

FYI: The reason Google doesn't want you to make business sites right now is that they're preparing to roll out a business account later. They don't want people trying to turn a layout designed for people into a site for their business. They have warned the folks who do that when the real business sites come along you won't be able to transfer any data into them from a personal site, so you'll have wasted all your time by not waiting as they asked.

you will find me on http://gplus.to/chipmason however, I havent done much photo posting, I prefer to do that here, where there are a greater % of folks who care.

Likewise, the folks I know on facebook like neither tech nor photography, they more often than not talk about their kids. For this reason I suspect there will never be one social network to rule them all.

FWIW, I love G+, hate Facebook.

I'm not sure if most people got *that* memo? First time I hear about it ... No, I didn't do any research before hand, but it's also not like they plaster the news all over the google+ site ...

Add Robert Scoble, Bradley Horowitz and Vic Gondotra to your following Circle, and you will get this non-stop. This issue over 'real names' has been a firestorm on G+ for nearly two weeks.
