Three of us headed out to a new small bouldering area to try a few problems

trying to hang onto the smallest of holds

all shot with a canon 20D and kit lens except for the second last, 70 -300 USM IS

    I was just looking at a picture in Climbing and thinking to myself that a) the
    action is better here (although steeper and more wall shots there)
    and b) most shots are better exposed.

    Of interest to me are the differences in technique between the first and
    second climber.

    Thanks for the comments Ian, hopefully later in the year as the weather stays more consistantly fine i'll be getting some good bigger wall shots too.
    You're right about the different climbing styles, they are both very strong but slight height differences mean they go about problems differently too.
