Do you all enjoy shooting Seniors as much as I do? Honestly, they are at the top of my list for favorite bookings. Here is a couple from today. I know I may have broken some rules in the photos, so let me know!

Love the photos AND the processing! Very pretty!
Only thing I'd change would be lill things like take out the bites / zits on her arm & leg in #2 and I'd try to clone out that dry skin around her armpit in the last shot ... but other than that, VERY, VERY PRETTY!
As of breaking any rules .... you might get some comments about chopping of her hand & butt in #2 ... in general I'd agree, but somehow it doesn't bother me too much in this particular photo.
Just wondering, do you use a tripod? Or are the shots handheld?
I see you are using a Nikon. Care to share what lenses you use?
Thanks
Phil

I shoot a lot of models but these young people would probably be a blast also. But what about the moms.

Im currently shooting with a Nikon D7000. The Lens I used here was a 50mm 1.4 - Usually at a 1.8 or 2.8. Just depending. Honestly, I am still learning the technical aspect and the science behind it all- I just know when something looks pretty through the lens. I do love bokeh though!
Use of tripod on location - outside - generally not needed. And at the wide aperture (small f/stops) you use you probably have sufficient shutter speed that there is little chance of camera shake/blur. Some photographers use a monopod though for outdoor senior photos.
Indoors might be needed if the light is low. I have used one at times when I am taking lots of shots in a short time period. For instance, I take photos of grade school kids for Sunday school and we only have a short time to do it, so I often use a tripod to have things set in advance.
Thanks much for the information.
Again, nice work.

Beautiful girl. She looks comfortable with you, and her poses look comfortable for her.
Like the shots over all.
Looks like the are all just a bit blurry. Looks like 2 could use just a bit more contrast or black point and 3 could use just a bit less black point.
I like how you are using your light and backgrounds and also your choice of compositions. Nice shots over all.
