Had an idea for a new shot for my portfolio, and this is what I came up with.

Nicely done, but little sense of movement, imo - is this what you were after?

(A bit like shots of prop driven aircraft / choppers without blur on the 'whirly bits' )

there is no movement - the bicyclist is tired

i would have corrected the horizon-angle a bit as it looks incorrect IMO
that would also give more angle to the road
[enhancing the effect of slow speed ( climbing ) ]

At first I didn't like it becouse the rider was going out of the frame. But the more i look at it the more I like it. There are a lot of things that are not done by the rules but it has a lot of feeling/emotion. I like the exposure, looks like some HDR work, maybe a little fill light. I like it.

Concept is good, composition not so much.

Too much sky with primary & secondary subjects on right side of frame.

My guess would be with the bike on the right and building behind him on he left to balance composition

Perfectly exposed as with all your other shots.

    All IMO

Columbia River Gorge, right? I like it. The horizon does need to be levelled though.
