It's a lot better than my second attempt was. I'd say you did pretty well.

My main reservation has nothing to do with it being an HDR. It's a pretty scene but the composition doesn't offer much interest except for the nice colors. You might see if you could find a more interesting one.

I agree with Cornflake on the composition comment, but as an HDR photo, I like that is still looks natural. But I wonder a bit about how this was done. The trees are still pretty dark and could use more detail.

I think cropping 1/4 off of the bottom will help the composition a bunch. There's still some highlights that need to be toned down in the clouds, but as a HDR, it's not too bad.

Like the first best, especially the color in the field grass.

The later photo with the dead trunk makes it look artificial. Not sure what it is that takes away the real dead-wood look.

The form of those trees is very much how the Oregon oaks look in some open farm or country land in this state.
