Print Screen Disabling

Hey all,

So, I had someone steal an image from a gallery by using print screen option. It was of course a family member and I asked how they did it. I could've sworn that I read somewhere in smugmug that it was not possible for someone to use print screen. Is my memory false?

    nevermind... just found the smug mug protecting image section and it doesnt say anything about print screen option. I hate to do it... but guess I'm going to have to slap a huge watermark on all my photos. Thing that sucks is that it was a family member's (senior portraits) kid who stole the image. Would've gave them one if they frigging asked!

    You can't do anything about folks using screen grabbers. That's the way the internet works as in everyone uses their own computer to view your site and you can't control what visitors do on it / what software they use. You can only try to find a balance between providing a good experience for the honest folks and the ones that'll grab photos no matter what.
