I am fascinated by the chaos of lines and yet it all works. CCs welcome!

Good shot. I'd boost the contrast some to give it a little more pop.

I'd say it works, even though it's very busy.

How about this Richard? I increased contrast, blacks and some lights.

I agree....it's busy, but I find it appealing. The second version is my choice. Good work.thumb.gif

FWIW, I prefer the first version. Just goes to show how tastes vary.

Version #1 for me! Love the look of an old rail-yard! Blast from the past look! thumb.gif

Interesting, we have divided opinions. I will attempt a third version that is between the two, as I said I think version #2 is somewhat overdone. Thanks for the opinions!!

The shot was really busy but interesting. My suggestion would be to selectively dodge and burn some areas depending on what you want to emphasize on the shot. In so doing, you can actually control how the viewer's eye would scan your image. Just a suggestion, Juano. Good conversion, btw. thumb.gifthumbthumb.gifclap.gifclapclap.gif

Chaotic, fascinating and certainly a photo one really wants to take time peeking around. I had fun looking at everything the photo had to offer knowing I've missed something to be seen during my first look. Definitely a photo I will be returning to.

    Really like this one thumb.gif
