That's a very good capture Rick. The 500mm won't work though. As soon as the birds see it they move further away.

Damn birds are smart. They know when I change the al servo thing, too. They sit, so I change it so I can compose/recompose, then they fly. They are probably whistling "bye bye birdie" or something.
Don't know why I can spend hours playing head games with the birds, but I can't settle my brain down to learn LAB colors post stuff.

I do see your point though....everything is relative....it's the human condition.
I have a whole sequence of this GBH coming in for a landing. The 75-300IS is just way to soft at 300. It was a nice experience anyway.
