Finally made it to Fern Falls this weekend. We got there pretty late in the day as it was further than I realized. It was worth the drive and we will go again!

Comments welcomed.

Thanks for looking, Ron

I love them, but why is the water blue? I think a tweak to the WB would make these pretty darn spectacular. it looks like a heavenly place with two of my favorite things, forest streams and ferns.

Lovely images, they're both great, but my fave is the 2nd even with the bit of blurring on the Devils Club in the foreground. The blue tone of the water really didn't bother me; it gave me a sense of cool clean water. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/thumb.gif&quot; border="0" alt="" ><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
I don't know where I'm goin, but I'm goin anyway.

I agree, Ron. I really like the composition in #2 also; it is nicely balanced. The colors are spectacular!

Both are excellent, but I think the composition in #2 is better. I also think knocking down the blues in the water will improve the over all image. Easy to do and you don't want to take all the blue out.

Thanks madmoose. I did not use any filters at all. These are both HDR photos though.
