This little guy either fell from or was kicked out of his nest Saturday morning. I found him under a tree in my back yard with ants starting to crawl all over him, so I took him inside and fed him over the weekend. This morning I took him to a wildlife rescue organization where they'll teach him to be a robin and fend for himself before releasing him. He was a very cooperative portrait subject ;)

    Poor little thing!
I sure do hope he makes a safe return to the wild eventually.
Great work on the rescue, and on the baby pictures! :)

You have a good heart. I would love to see an update to this thread...like when they first release him into the wild. mwink.gif

I've asked to be notified when they're ready to release him. They're going to mark him with an inconspicuous "dot" so I can id him. Right now, he's the smallest they have, so he's easy to recognize, but when he's ready to go he'll look like all the rest of the robins.

I'll update when I have new info. Thanks for your kind words and for taking an interest.
