perfect. The only thing that might be cool is seeing the top of the mountains in the back so you could see the sky but it is really cool. Where is this? It looks like the virgin river gorge.

bskaran, this was taken close to sunset at Grandview Point, one of those crowded overlooks along the rim. There were so many people with cameras that it was hard to find a place to set up a tripod. I used a telephoto lens, with cable release and mirror lock, and watched this scene for quite a while until the mix of shadow and light was right.

That's the way to go. And it worked! Love the light and the composition.
