Gallery Keywords...

Hi All,

I am trying to update my galleries keywords, but after 3 attempts they still aren't being saved.

Is it me, or a problem with SmugMug???

Hm. I just added the gallery keyword xxyyzz88 and it's instantly searchable via smugmug.com search box. And I see you have gallery keywords of your own on that gallery

Oddly when I try to add new keywords they aren't saved. Have no idea why, I also tried adding keywords to another gallery;

but run into the same problem. I didn't have an issue when I changed the descriptions these saved no problem, just the keywords.

Like Andy, I was able to add a keyword to the gallery. Which operating system and browser are you using? I would like to try using the same and see if it fails for me.

I am using Firefox ver. 5.0 and Windows Vista Home Premium, Service Pack 2. I was able to add one keyword to this gallery;

but after that nada!!!

Can you try a different browser? Like Internet Explorer and let us know if it is doing the same in it? I am able to save the gallery keywords as well so I am wondering if something else is blocking it for you.

Hello docwalker,

I was finally able to add some keywords to the galleries I mentioned in previous posts. What I did differently;

1) I used IE ver. 9.0.1
2) I stopped trying to add quotes, "Japanese Bobtail"

I'm not sure if or how these changes above helped, I am happy I was finally able to get the keywords saved in the galleries.

I sincerely appreciate the help everyone provided here.
