    A beautiful flower, to be sure. I would have done one of two things here. Either move in closer to the subject ( or crop this image ) to eliminate the black portion on the left, or draw back further from the subject to expose the entire blossom.

    Nice shot. I like the original and would favor a tighter crop on the first one. Have you considered turning it to B+W?
