Testing a DIY flash diffuser made out of plastic milk container and a DIY 1-inch lens extension tube. Thank you very much for viewing.

Nikon D70, 50mm lens coupled to a 1" extension tube, ISO 200, f/22 at 1/500 second, Flash fired using an SB-24 flash with a home made diffuser attached.
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

    Well, my friend, you really nailed this one. The lighting is right-on and the detail is outstanding.clap.gifclap

    I'd be most interested in hearing how you came up with a self-made extension tube. You just can't keep a good man down:D

    Thank you very much, my friend. For the extension tube, I rolled in a heavy cartolina to hold the 50mm lens and made it to a tube. For the camera coupling on the other end of the tube I used a reversing ring. I'm waiting for a PK-13 extension ring that I won on ebay. The guy said I might receive it by tomorrow. That would be a better way to secure the lens to the body. thumb.gif
