Birthday part at Chuck-e-Cheese...
Probably one of worst place to shoot but nothings says better than pictures. Here are some snaps from my recent shoot at Chuck-e-Cheese for my friend's daughter. Whole event was shoot using Canon 60D + Sigma 17-50 F2.8 & no flash. Here are few things that I personally learnt from this shoot. If you are going to shoot at C-e-C use Manual or P mode with Flash on. It is next to impossible to have sugar high, highly distracted toddlers to co-operate on anything. Especially when they see that hedious Rat and Pizza.
My mistake in this shoot was I relied on F2.8 assuming it will do trick and let camera dictate ISO (although I set it at 1600 max - but all my pictures came at ISO 1600 as that is what camera picked up). 90% of pictures were shot in Av mode - from my experience it is big No-No if you are going to shoot at C-e-C under poor lighting condition because camera drops your shutter below 1/60 most of time - which is not best way to get tack sharp images when going hand held.
So here we go - learn from my mistake and do some C&C. I stayed away from Pizza and cake at party and took extra care of my camera from toddlers
